NLP Practitioner and Questioning Skills

Knowing the right questions to ask makes a huge difference to the quality of your life and of those around you.

Using the right questions at the right time also makes you a compelling and influential communicator, the go to person.

These powerful skills in questioning techniques form an integral part of our complete NLP Practitioner Certification Training, including NLP, Time Line Therapy™, Hypnosis and NLP Coaching.

At our NLP Practitioner training we will share you with an exciting  new model of the world, one that will allow you to replace ineffective questions that you might have asked in the past, with new, powerful and influential ones. By learning these techniques you will dramatically improve your results in all areas of your life, from your career through to your personal relationship. In fact just by taking charge and recognising that it’s you who is responsible for your results, you will automatically start to ask different questions.

Let’s face it, it makes sense that if you start asking different questions, you are going to get different results. The better the question, to better the result. In the past you might have asked yourself, “Why does this always happen to me?” Interestingly, this is the wrong question to ask because the answer you get will contain lots and lots of reasons and validation for that outcome. If you want to get a better result in the future, the questions to ask yourself are, “What is the meaning or positive learning from this?” and “How can I ensure I get a better result next time?

This is a change that you can create for yourself today! That’s empowering and will make a massive difference to your life.

To create changes and improvements in all areas of life will require you to start thinking about things in a new way. Effectively asking yourself different questions to uncover and tap into different resources. Here’s a list of questions you can apply to make those changes:

How can I improve on that [specific area]?

What do I want?

What is the positive learning or resource that I can take from [an event or experience] which will allow me to do it differently in the future?

What other strategies can I use to get better results?

What do I need to do that I don’t want to do?

What do I not want to do that I must?

Empowering questions are useful for you and for others around you. Asking different questions of others will also create a massive positive shift in their lives too including improving their performance.

These empowering questions cause the persons brain to engage and generate some results orientated answers. During our NLP Practitioner training course, you will learn a wide range of powerful questioning techniques for creating outstanding results. Techniques that will cause you to start thinking in a new way and therefore increase your results in all areas of your life.

NLP Practitioner: Build a Positive Self Image

If you feel that your self-esteem is low, then you can take steps to improve it. During our exciting NLP Practitioner training you will learn tools and techniques that will boost your confidence and self esteem. Plus you’ll be able to help other people to do the same.

One of the first things you’ll discover during our NLP Practitioner training is the importance of taking responsibility for how you feel. Initially, it’s a challenging concept for some people, yet the truth is that you can choose to be in any state you like, positive or negative, whenever you like. During our NLP Practitioner training we’ll show you how to get in control of your emotional state which puts you back in charge. How you feel is governed by how you think, so if you want to feel better, you can start by changing your thinking.

Low self-esteem is one of those things that can become a bad habit. But like every bad habit, it’s one that you can break. With NLP you’ll be able to overcome what may have become a lifetime routine of negative thinking. Knowing that positive self-esteem improves not only your relationship, it improves all areas of your life.

Here are some tips for how you can start to build your self-esteem:

1: Practice positive self-talk: Everyone talks to themselves. Check in with your self talk. If that self talk is telling you that you’re stupid, unlovable, useless, a failure, incompetent or anything else negative, then tell it to shut up!  That self talk is you and it’s yours to control, so whenever you’re tempted to say something bad about yourself, STOP and replace that with something positive. Something like: ‘You’re lovable, you’re special, you’re important, you’re competent, you’re an all-round really, really wonderful human being who deserves to be happy and enjoy life.’

2: Think of a situation where you would like to have better self-esteem, image how it would feel to have gained more confidence in this situation. As you imagine that now ask yourself:  “If I were to learn something valuable about this situation what would it be?”  You can also ask yourself:  “If I pretend there is a positive intention behind my feelings or behaviour what would that be?”  These answers will lead you to a more positive direction and give you access to new insights and resources that you can use in the future.

NLP Practitioner

During our exciting NLP Practitioner certification training we will share with you the 3 types of clients you are likely to see in your coaching career. In this article you’ll gain insights into each of the categories:

Firstly, the “Open” client. This is the client where change is more possible because they want to develop new coping mechanisms to deal with the complexities of their environment. They will be able to perceive the benefits of learning new strategies, new values, new sets of skills, changing beliefs, decisions, letting go of negative emotions and resolving conflicts etc. So, this client will progress through the levels much faster because they will have developed their thinking and have new coping mechanisms on board which lead to increased flexibility in behaviour and better results.

Secondly, the “Arrested” client. Change can be more difficult because the client is resistant to change and is probably fighting and arguing for doing it the same old way, just better! So this client may not readily accept the idea of change. The NLP Practitioner will have to expertly reframe this client and formulate a plan for making the transition and move at a pace that is comfortable for the client. Sometimes the client will be conflicted as to whether or not they really do want the change. Sometimes they will move forward, sometimes they will choose to stay the same and sometimes they go back to their old ways. You’ll likely to hear an “arrested” client say something like, “I want to want to BUT I’m not sure if I really want to.”

Thirdly, the “Closed” client. This client finds change hard to accept. It’s the client that tells you, “I want to lose weight, so just do that hypnotherapy thing to me. Don’t tell me I have to change what I eat and don’t tell me I have to exercise.” The NLP Practitioner can provide this client with more strategies and resources to deal with the situation as it stands. It’s very easy for this client to go back to the old ways because they haven’t developed new ways of thinking, so the status quo remains a very comfortable place. This client is the client who is well known for remaining in their “comfort zone.” Or as we describe it the “Grey Zone” where there are no questions about doing things differently.

NLP Practitioner is the Key to Success

How to Market Yourself Successfully as a NLP Practitioner

In part 1 of our guide to How to Market Yourself Successfully as a NLP Practitioner we are going to look at the first 5 key qualities you need to model to create success within your NLP business. You may love helping people to create change in their lives and to work with more people to do this you need to remember that you are in business. So what does it take:

Being an owner of a business means that you are the leader of that business. That means you have to understand and develop the qualities that make you stand out as the leader. That could include being able to handle pressures associated with varying circumstances, having a deep concern for your clients and employees or being assertiveness in taking action.
Having a Clear Vision

So as the leader, part of your role is developing a clear vision of where the business is going and understanding what the success of that business will look like and a route map to accomplishing that. Remember it’s not enough just to have that thought in your mind, you have to be willing to share that vision and take massive, relentless action to make it happen. Which leads to our next point.

Be Dedicated

You’ve got to be dedicated and play at 100% to achieve what you want. Focussing your time and energy into reaching your target. As a leader of your business you have to do this by example and show your followers how it’s done.

A good leader in business must develop and have the discipline to work towards their goals and focus on what they want. Directing all their attention and actions on the successful completion of the outcome. We all know people who talk a good game and yet when it comes down to it they don’t take any action. Taking action is the key to your success along with inspiring others to do the same.

Communication skills

It’s essential for the leader to have fantastic communication skills. To be able to passionately communicate their vision clearly to get buy in from others.

In part 2 of our guide to How to Market Yourself Successfully as a NLP Practitioner we are going to look at the next 5 key qualities you need to model to create success within your NLP business.

Be Empowered with our NLP Practitioner

Life can be exceptionally demanding and challenging and yet we all have the opportunity to really take charge of our circumstances, to design and create the life that we want.

One of the important principles that you’ll discover at our dynamic NLP Practitioner training is that  people have all of the resources they need inside themselves to succeed. One of the many benefits to attending our NLP Practitioner training is that you can discover the secrets of how to get in touch with those resources. That means that you can be successful regardless of what’s going on around you.

It’s interesting that the people who succeed during tough times are those who stubbornly focus on what they want regardless of what the outside conditions are. They maintain their focus towards what they want.

How do you maintain your focus towards what you want? This is where mind training techniques of NLP, Time Line Therapy® and Hypnosis are used to create potent results for the individual by eliminating old, habitual, negative thought processes. This is very empowering because it puts you in charge of your thinking and what’s going on in your mind.

Our results driven NLP Practitioner training will teach you how to start to think differently. After all, if you want to change something, then you have to change something!?! You have to learn focus on what you want because the whole issue comes down to focus. Plus you need to be paying attention to when you are maintaining on what you want and when you’re not and then take action to change it.

It’s true to say that people habitually get caught up in their problems and then their focus is absorbed by the problem. It’s like going to work thinking that you’re no good and your job and the boss is going to fire you. The individual’s focus and attention is on being fired. Yet you could choose to focus on the flip side of the coin, ie performing well at work and making a positive difference to that business and it’s customers. We had an example of this in our Master Practitioner training where one of our graduates re-negotiated her contract and got a £15,000 increase on her salary. She proved that she could get results by doing this and she did and you can too. Regardless of who you are and where you are on the planet, you can learn to focus on what you want.

When you focus on what you want, you are then able to design and create your future the way you want to. Our expert NLP Practitioner training is the pathway to your empowerment, so that you can discover your inner resources and you’ll be amazed at all that you can achieve.

Most people don’t know that they have the ability to control their own minds and their own emotions. We know that you are the kind of person that is striving for success and we can show you how to get in charge of your mind so you can maintain your focus and live the life of your dreams.
